We are here to help you 7 days a week and respond within 24 hours. Plus, you can find most answers to your questions right on this page.
No. The age limit in Denmark is 18. By law it is not allowed to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Even if you have a parent signature or a paper of consent from a guardian, it is illegal for you to get a tattoo. You can however book an appointment with us, if you are 17 years old, so you are ready the day you turn 18. We have many customers who celebrate their 18th birthday with a tattoo.
The cost of a tattoo varies in price depending on which size, placement and style you want. A price quote is always given for your tattoo, before you get the tattoo. If you want a price quote, please come by the shop.
Yes, it will hurt. However, pain is very individual and the pain will differ according to the placement and the size of the project. We are very experienced when it comes to pain relief, and we will do whatever we can, to make you as comfortable as possible.
No. We do not recommend the use of local anesthetics. The structure of your skin will change, which will influence the process of the ink entering your skin and thereby influence the final result of your tattoo.
If you are however a piercing customer, you may use it, but be sure to inform your piercer first.
All our inks are of the highest quality. They are tested and therefore NOT carcinogenic, contain harmful amounts of heavy metals or cause allergic reactions. All ink colours used are approved for the Danish marked, and stored as requested by the Danish Safety Technology Authority (Sikkerhedsstyrelsen) in accordance with the Reach 2023 rules. If you are interested in an allergy test of a specific ink, then please contact the shop, for more information.
The waiting list depends on your project. Our artists specialize in different styles. Therefore, the waiting list will depend on which artist that is suited for your project. We are artists and therefore we want to give you the very finest piece of art on your skin. To do this, we make sure it is the right artist that will do your specific project, and therefore there will be a waiting list depending on the style of your project. It also depends on the size of your project. If it is a small project, we will normally have time within a week.
Yes. We love doing walk-ins! We very rarely have the time for walk-ins, but you are always welcome to drop by the shop if you feel spontaneous. If you want to be sure to get a tattoo from us, then please book a time.
We accept cash (DKK) and MobilePay
Yes. To get a tattoo is hard on your body and mind and therefore you will have a better experience if you prepare yourself.
Sleep:
Be well rested before your appointment. Your body and mind will cope better with both the pain and heeling if you are well rested.
Food and drinks:
Make sure you have a hearty meal and that you are well hydrated before your appointment. Your body will use a lot of energy during the tattoo session. When customers faint or feel unwell during a tattoo session, it is usually due to low blood sugar. You are very welcome to bring food, snacks and sugary drinks with you, which you can enjoy in the designated eating areas.
High hygiene standard:
Show up to your appointment freshly showered and in clean clothes. Avoid coming straight from work, if your work clothes are dirty. Hygiene is extremely important to the healing of a tattoo and ultimately your health.
Entertainment
For the larger projects it is normally nice to bring a smartphone, music, ipad or book to focus your mind on other things than the pain.
Avoid
We strongly recommend that you do not consume alcohol in the days up to your tattoo. It is not fun for you or your tattoo artist if you are getting a tattoo while hungover. The alcohol is blood thinning, and will result in more bleeding during your tattoo, which will affect the ink staying in your skin and thereby the result.
Get in contact with us on this page, send us a message on facebook, or drop by the shop within our opening hours. We love talking about tattoos.
When we have all the information about your tattoo project, we can give you a price estimate and find you a time in our calendar.
The deposit will vary from 500-1000 kr. depending on the project size, and will of course be deducted from the price on the day. The deposit is non-refundable. If you however cancel minimum 24 hours in advance and wish to rebook, we will be willing to move your deposit for your next appointment.
You should have received an aftercare sheet in the shop. If you have misplaced it, follow this link: Aftercare sheet | Efterpleje
Please be sure to follow the instructions, for the best possible healing. A tattoo that is taken care of, will heal better and ultimately give you the best result.
If you follow these instructions, your tattoo should heal perfectly. If you follow the aftercare correctly, and a touch-up is for some reason still needed, this will be free of charge within 6 months.
A touch-up is only preformed if it is needed. Please come by the shop, or send us a picture if you are in doubt. A touch-up is not included in the price, if placed in an area that is not recommended by the tattoo artist, i.e. areas of much wear, such as areas close to the wrist, feet, elbows, knees, hands and fingers. If you still wish to place your tattoo in such a place, an additional charge of 300kr, will be charged for a touch-up.
